some bloke 60
That's seriously respectable shooting Dan. I doubt I could match that but we could go compare.com. I'm out of .22 rounds - so how about your bullets on my permission lol? Quote Link to post
Leicester hunter 0
Well, had my licence and rifle a day now. Spent an hour or so zeroing in today, and finally started getting groups of approx 3/4 inch at 95yds. Im using eley subs, is this about right? im used to putting one on top of another with air rifles, and know this is unlikely with a .22 I know that at 95yds this is more than enough for a clean kill, its just i wondered is this the general grouping at this range? cheers At 95 yards you are at the upper and outer limits of outdoor precision with a .22rf. If you are not using a bipod and a VERY good scope, then 3/4" groups are not just OK they ara F***'in brilliant. Look when you are Rabbiting you have about 20 seconds start to finish, it's dark, raining, the range is whatever it is 30, 50,67??yards Take the shot or forget it, no mildots, no breath control, no wind flags, Oh Dear its run in. Don't worry, be happy! AndyF AM using a bipod and a Meopta 7x50 Quote Link to post

I went out earlier this week and after copping a few bunnies I started shooting high. I eventually realised my scope mounts were loose so a quick re-zeroing session is in order before we go after some bunnies as I'm getting behind on orders for them. Quote Link to post
