hi lads

well ive done some testing but only at 14mtrs at the minute heres the results

at 14mtrs im still in the kill zone (5pence piece) so id be happy with them ill try and get some at 30mtrs tomorrow

hi lads

well whilst i was out last night i managed to test the bisley magnums v bisley pest controls

as shown earlier the 14 mtrs still showed them both in the kill zone but at 30mtrs its a different story

the bisley pest control were all over the place

 

so in the end bisley pest control will do the job at short range but i dont think id be using them at my normal ranges

The BPC's lost their edge a little at 30, so a bit of a waste of time if they cant shoot over 14mtrs, unless they're being put through a gat gun, I did'nt think there would be that much difference between them

I use the bisly magnum 10.6 grain in my HW100 KT .177 and there very affective and very very accurate up to 45 yards.

I've been a big fan of Mags/Baracudas in .177 for many years.

 

One of the best pellets I've ever used.

 

I've dragged out my old Diana 52 lately (.177) and have been trying Dynamic TM1's. Well pleased!! Same kind of groups through the 52 as the mags, but fly a little flatter and hit at least as hard.

 

I'll try to work out how to put pics on here one day.....

I found BPC rubbish thru my .22 s410 just passable at 15 yards but forget anything past that

A pal brought round a few tins of Pellets yesterday one of which was a tin Of BPC, in his rifle over 5 shots they averaged 750.82FPS 8.8Grain Pellet = 11.18FT/LBS. apart from that they felt pretty tight in the Barrel and shot all over the place in my rifle, then again mine is zeroed in to hit a Match head at 100 Metres .....

 

they seemed ok but not as Accurate as you said over distance as the Mags...

bisley mags 43mtrs (lased) slight uphill head shot rabbits didnt stand a chance thats my best shot this year so far barracudas are a very close match (if not the same lol) to mags
