festa 206
well i had to go to the shop cos im out of bisley mags and he had none :censored: so i ended up with bisley pest control ...anyone used them ?? atb gary Quote Link to post
Edgar 1
Yes they were a well made pellet. But they just wouldn't group in my HW springer. 6 inch groups at 15 yards was the best I could get. OK this was with open sights but I could manage half inch groups at that range with RWS. They are heavy so only for short range in a 12ft/lb rifle. Would be good for ratting and other short range shooting if your gun likes them. Quote Link to post
garfield 23
there not bad Gary but they dont like long range work due to the hollow point i used to use em in .22 Quote Link to post
festa 206
i only got them cos the shop had no mags in and i wanted to have a mooch tonight ...so u suppose time will tell atb gary Quote Link to post
JackReid 35
Hi mate, Your probably out killing by now but when I bought a tin I didnt get really far with them as they just didnt suit for longer ranges. They way like 21g or something? I always saw them as close range killers, like rats etc, They droop down alot in .22 but after a quick zero you will make your own mind up!. Let us know how they are. andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. I've tried them in my .177 Xocet, RWS52 and Tracker, .22 in my Lightning, King Ratty and AA410c and they've been shite in all of them. Maybe I've been unlucky.... Cheers. Funny shaped pellets. Always a winner. Not! Edit to say... They are pretty much the same as the Mags but with a hollow head that really screws up the way they fly past about ten feet.... apds120 0
AKA Beeman Crowmag, apparently the .20 cal ones are OK at about 18 / 20 Ft lbs, got them in .22 & .25 myself, they tumble so sometimes hit target semi-side on, hence v. effective but only at short range. Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Oh yeah, I forgot I'd tried them in my .20 HW90. Same result.... That said to be fair, the 90's a bit pellet fussy in .20. The only ones I've found that really work are Dynamics and Beeman Airbullets. Cheers. Edit... And Baracudas go well out of it too.
