pigeonman 8
Tyla- there both very nice looking dogs never seen a russel whippet before looks a strong little fella!! And she looks like she's got some pace to her!! Pigeonman- how are they bred nice pups!! i put my bitch (jrt x whippet) to a whippet x greyhound, the dog is more of a whippet size and build. i put a link to a pic of my bitch above the pic of the pups, dya reckon the the pups are gona be of a small size due to the size of my bitch??? a few people have said they could go either way taking the height from the sire or the dam. i personally think their heights gona be limited due to the bitch to be honest I couldn't really say I know with hybrids the pups can vary quite alot!! Sounds like you should have some very racy looking pups as for size I'm not sure!! Keep putting pics up of there progress be intresting to see how they turn out!!! yeh i will do, the one thing im worried about with pups is, my bitch is pretty stuborn, once shes out on the mooch there absolutely no chance of gettin her to come back on command or even gettin her to sit! i just drop back n let her do her thing, i had real trouble breakin her to the ferrets too, ive always put that down to the JRT in her, but pauls dogs above prettymuch put that theory in the bin! so i guess its down to the indervidual dog. i plan on workin the pups with the ferrets, anyone got any advice or tips for breakin em to the ferrets??? Parker is about 21 tts and, i think, bigger than both sire and dam so you never know! As to the ferrets, recall and such its just training. Start early and be consistant, get them used to being around ferrets from an early age and make sure they are 100% on recall and livestock before starting them on any kind of work. Im very interested in these pups progress, i reckon they should make good dogs in the right hands Quote Link to post
