just read in a shooting mag that 'DAZ' Or similar washing powder gives your clothes a UV sheen that makes you stand out like a beacon to pigeons.

apparantly the cheap powders are better for your hunting clothing.

I find if you are a big chap like myself who likes there roast dinners i dont wash my camo gear as they shrink in the wash no matter what temp you wash them at, I always put them over the line outside and put the hose pipe on them and let them dry on the line then they wont shrink.. :feck:

any cloths u use to hunt in SHOULD NEVER BE WASHED WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN PLAIN WATER!. if anything wash in plain water in a bowl, NO SOAP AT ALL of any kind, dont want strong sent on your stuff, u will find that most washing powders will leave UV film on your cloths as it helps to reduce the damage done by the sun ie bleaching colours.

Also thi sgos for any hunting .. shower befor u go hunting BUT DO NOT USE SOAP! just plain water..

Pluse i would advise you only wash your hunting kit if you really have to.. I my self choise not to.. and i keep all my hunting kit apart, ir deer, rabbit, pigeon, fox, take em out the bag put em on.. use em , put em back in the bag after i finish. this way u keep what sent u use to mask your own on the cloths and kit with out getting any unwanted sent on them..
