mesh for ferret court

Recommended Posts

right guys, i'm nearly done building my ferret court. all i need now is some galv mesh. just wondered if anybody knew anywhere to get it cheap? i'm trying not to spend a bomb on it to be honest. if any one knows any cheaper alternatives i'm open to suggestions? i also need some for my dog run as my ferret court is built as an extension up to it so they can still get close to each other.

here's the dimensions:

ferret hutch (1 front section and 1 side section) - 1.2m high x 3m long + 1.2m high x 1.2wide

the court is going to have 2tiers.

dog run (1 Front section and 1 roof section) - 2m high x 3m wide + 2.8m wide x 3m + 1 standard doorway

Check your local yellow pages or google 'Wireworkers'

These firms manufacture mesh and you will get a better deal than you would from your local builders or agricultural merchants. They will normaly cut what you need to size, so you only pay for what you need and dont have to buy a roll/sheet
