coursing mad 5 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 im currently leaving school in june/july this year, i will be going on a animal management course at collage in september time. the course is only 15 hours a week and i will have nothing reily to do on the 1 day im off so i am asking for a farmer/gamekeeper to step up and offer me to help out on there farm/estate to pick up some usefull tips & info to become comfertable when i go for a job in years to come, im a very sensible lad and already know a little about rearing animals, pest contole, maintaning farm vehicles ect. i will also be looking to do it on a sat/sun, im not botherd about getting paid ect as long as im getting some expeireance out of it. im 16 years old and will be able to make my own way to the farm ect. would be very greatfull if anyone could help Darlington, northeast area many thanks tom. Maybe try a few keepers, come summer they may need help picking up eggs, repairing pens etc. It's back breaking work, but it may learn you something, give you experience and even get you some permission. Helen Benson by telephone on 01677 470180 or by email on gamekeeperjobs@btinternet.com contact helen she finds out about loads of gamekeeping jobs she found me a job at a game farm whatever you do stay well away from gamefaring horrable donkey work but gamekeeping she will defnately have something come up it may take a few weeks or months but she always finds you something.
