ye after my lad put his hand down the hole and pulled the jill out and she was lifeless we werent going to look for the rabbit

I was out yesterday and the ferret bolted what im pretty sure was a stoat out of a bolt hole we had missed. The speed of them things!! Got a bit worried incase they had had a fight down there and the stoat had came off better but the ferret came out soon after. Dont know much about stoats so not sure who would have won a fight, it was my smallest jill that was down.

 

Could have been something like that that happened, hope she gets better

one bit my index finger to the bone one night when i put my hand down in the dark to take a retrieved rabbit from the dog. Those flat teeth hurt like a bitch.
