danebrewer10 6
roost shooting go with 1/4 i would, a bit or reach to the tops of the trees or 3/8 best of 1/4 and 1/2 all rounder briley make them DB Quote Link to post
allenyeates 3
imp cylinder and 1/4 choke if you ask me. Never used tighter chokes myself as most roost shooting is snap shooting. Just a personal view, but honest. Quote Link to post
chrispti 3
3/4 or full for roosting Quote Link to post
goldfinger 135
I would use 1/4 choke mate,a good all rounder for pigeon,I find roost shooting can be quick reaction shooting at times. Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
I have never used more than 1/4 choke for roosting. When 32 grm was the "normal" load, I used those, but these days, never more than 28 grm of No6. Quote Link to post

blackstairs boy 0
cylinder and 1/4 cannot be beaten. cartridges I would use sixes to kill them dead in the air. Gather your birds as they fall and a dog is a great help so long as he is steady. Been itchin to get out myself but were gettin no wind at all. Maybe next week. best a luck boy Quote Link to post
Bushwacker 13
I always use improved & quarter with 32g 6's, keep swinging and ignore the trees, cracking sport if there's a bit of wind to keep them down. If it's not very windy they'll drop into a wood like stones from a great height giving little chance of making a good bag. Good luck. Quote Link to post
