DUCKWING 302
WELL LADS , OVER THE YEARS ME AND THE LAMPERMAN HAVE JUST ABOUT UTILISED EVERY BIT OF KIT YOU CAN THINK OF TO TRANSPORT GAME BACK TO THE MOTORS ...... BLISTERS , BAD BACKS AND SORE SHOULDERS.... ALL HOWEVER , ONE THING WE HADNT TRIED WAS THE WIRE GAME CARRIERS ............ ALWAYS SEEMED FLIMSY BIT OF KIT TO ME , AFTER HAVING A VISIT FROM CHIPPER AND SEEING THE CARRIER UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL ....SO TO SPEAK .....WE THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE A GO AT MAKING A FEW SETS ABOUT 8 SETS TO START WITH THEY HAVE BEEN TESTED CARRYING LOTS OF GAME OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHES AND HAVE PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS , .............. SMALL HALF GROWN RABBITS AS WELL AS FULLY GROWN ALL FIT WELL ............ THERE NICE AND LIGHT YET STRONG , WIDE STRAPS SO ONCE THERE FULL AND ON YER SHOULDER .... THERES NO DIGGING IN , THE GAP AT THE TOPS WIDE ENOUGH TO GET YER HAND THROUGH SO THEY CAN BE CARRIED AT YER SIDE WHEN ONLY HALF FULL EASILY .......... WE CAN DROP THESE OFF WHEN LAMPING AND NOT WORRY AS WE GOT MORE SETS READY IN A POCKET, THEY CARRY ABOUT A DOZEN EASILY ............. AND BEST OF ALL THE COST US NOTHING TO MAKE ....... ONLY TIME HAVE A GO AND MAKE A FEW SETS ....... SEE IF YOU FELLAS CAN FILL THEM DUCKWING

BUT TO BE HONEST .......... LIKE MOST LADS INTO THE HUNTING GAME IVE GOT MORE PROJECTS ON THE GO THAN A HEDGEHOGS GOT SPINES !! AND TIMES TIGHT [ WASNT THAT A SONG ?] AT THE MOMENT IAM ON WITH A FEW 4 FOOT PURSE NETS , A GATE NET , SETTING UP A FEW LONGNETS GW STYLE , AS WELL AS FINALLY GETTING ON WITH MY SCANDI KNIFE . ADD INTO THAT GUTTING OUR BATHROOM ,FAMILY , LOOKING AFTER MY STOCK AND DOING A BIT OF HUNTING ...... YOU WILL SEE IAM A BUSY FELLA IAM SURE NO DIFFERENT TO MANY OF YOU LADS ....... JUST THOUGHT SOME OF YOU FELLAS MIGHT HAVE HAD A GO AND MAKE A FEW SETS ..... NO ULTERIOR MOTIVE ALL THE BEST DUCKWING

DUCKWING 302
WELL MILLET , I HAVE USED RUCKSACKS .......... BUT I AINT A FAN FOR A FEW REASONS .... FIRST , I CAN CARRY 4 SETS WHICH ARE NO WEIGHT AT ALL ....... WHEN THEY ARE GETTING FULL , YOU JUST HANG THEM ON A TREE / GATE OR WHATEVER ..... GET ANOTHER SET FROM YER POCKET AND YER OFF AGAIN !! SECOND , IVE HAD 2 NASTY EXPERIENCES CARRYING GAME WITH A RUCKSACK FULL , ONCE WHILE CROSSING A RIVER WITH SOME KEEPERS IN HOT PURSUIT .... NEARLY DROWNED WITH THAT ONE ! ... THE SECOND TIME WHILE LAMPING , GETTING OVER A BARB FENCE ON A VERY STEEP HILL ....... NOPE AFRAID NO MORE RUCKSACKS FOR ME ....... THIRD ........... I AINT SCARED OF BLOOD :11: ........ PLUS ..... I CLEAN THE CATCH AT THE END OF THE DAY , SO THERE NO BLOOD ON US FELLAS , MAYBE IF I WAS A SUMMERTIME RABBITER I WOULD GUT THE CATCH QUICKLY ........ NO NEED TO BOTHER WITH THAT FOR US HARDENED WINTER DOGMEN FOURTH , WHEN RABBITS COME OUT OF A BAG THEY ALWAYS LOOK UNTIDY ..... AND TO BE HONEST MORE LIKE ROADKILL .......... NO GOOD WHEN YER SELLING YER CATCH FIFTH ....... YOU LOOK LIKE A CHAV WANDERING ROUND IN TRACKIES , NIKE RUCKSACK AND TRAINERS :11: I COULD GO ON FELLAS ....... BUT IAM SURE YOU GET THE DRIFT ......... ALL THE BEST DUCKWING
Ricky-N.p.p 0
I use summit simalar when carying a load of pheasants,,,,,string !!!!!!!
DUCKWING 302
1. for sure i dont do nike shite and trainer's2. it's easy enough to take the bag of and leave it or empty it get my drift.. 3. blar blaar blaaaar.. At the end of the day them game carrying thing's are shite. . Millet WELL MULLET , MAYBE CARRYING 14 IS YOUR LIMIT ............ SOME OF US GENETICALLY SUPERIOR SPECIMENS CAN YOMP A LOT MORE , ......... I WILL LEAVE YOU " PROFESSIONAL " SMOGGIE CHAV HUNTERS , WITH YER REEBOK BAG , BURBERRY BEANIE HAT , TRACKIES AND TRAINERS ... :11: OH BY THE WAY RICKY ........... I VE CARRIED MORE PHEASENTS THAN MOST LADS HAVE EVER SEEN .. 30 BRACE OF LONGTAILS DOESNT HALF CUT INTO YER SHOULDERS ..... I SUPPOSE ITS JUST A MATTER OF WHAT SIZE BAG ? GOOD LUCK FELLAS DUCKWING

TOMO 26,208
duck wing you can improve those carriers by shortning the shoulder straps so they dont hang so far down. i personly im not keen on those as rabbit piss tends to leek down you. i use these large safty pins which you just push through the rabbits hock. i have been yousing this method for 18 year. its quik and eficiant. each safty pin hangs off the end of a bit of webbibing in much the same way as the neck carriers in the pics. nobby on this site has now improved on my safty pins by making some even bigger ones. i will ask him to put a pic up to show you all. on these new ones i can carry about a dozen on each pin TOMO Edited November 4, 2006 by TOMO
