English Bull's

Recommended Posts

Lads i like these dogs from this line, i am around 3 on a regular basis 1 of them is in a working home and she is making a good little dog and i have been training one for man and guard work,, i like him and he is coming good the 3rd is just a pet that has been obedience trained, all of them are healthy drive willing to please good looking little dogs, if you are looking for a old style EBT type for a pet or for your needs then i would have a better look in to this line of dogs, it would be up to the new owners to bring it on, but they ant going to prove them self's by jumping over a pieces of wood or by chasing a rabbit, in the right hands they could make a good dog. with out all of the bull shit

You must be crazy recommending this line of Dogs as pets, most people couldn't handle them and they'd all end up in rescue centres or being put down. If you really know these dogs you'd realise that promoting them like that is irresponsible.

I never slagged him off, I slagged his Dogs off :D He's actually a very nice bloke and I have had good conversations with him and I think we established a mutual respect for each other's views. He also gave me his contact details if I ever want to contact him because he doesn't get involved with all this forum shit and I can understand why.

Delaney's Dogs were bred to be very bully and powerful with massive heads and as such they were everything I hate about exaggeration in modern dogs. That's not to say that they didn't excel at what they did, endurance was not a quality required for baiting.

I know what a Badger trial is and it's exactly that, a trial, a test, it is not a match.

To be honest hog dog ,i think your talking out your hole, endurance was not a quality required for baiting? thats why all the trial lads walked their dogs every night and had them hard as rocks is it? or was it just to make them look well? LOOKS NEVER MADE A DOG.

If you know what you're talking about then you and I have a different view of what endurance is.

tell me [bANNED TEXT] dogs have been put down from this line and [bANNED TEXT] rescue centers are dogs in as i will help places these dogs in the right type of pet homes, i have all ready re-homed one  as for being irresponsible that would be down to the breeders of these dogs placing them in homes that ant got a f*****g clue plus the new owners not pulling there fingers out and putting the time in training and excising them the right way if they dont then they are irresponsible, hogdog that is the best dog that you have ever had as you have said it has mad you be a better owner, trainer and shown you [bANNED TEXT] a dog bred for work is like, when you have got 20 years of experience with working type strong dogs then come back and have a got chat until then just carry on digging that hole mate

You've just proved the point I was making and backed up what I said, you've already re-homed one that the owners couldn't handle, they're most certainly not for everyone and I would never recommend one as a pet. Most people haven't got the patience, time or dedication that I put into my Dog. As you now say, contradictory to what you said earlier, it's a Dog bred for work.

Even before I got him I was a very capable owner as anyone who knows me will tell you so don't try and boy me off please Mickey, I know my stuff and it's not because I read lots of books.

hogdog the way that i see it would be irresponsible to place these dogs any were, you have got to blame the breeder for placing the dog and the owners for not doing there job not just with this type but all strong dogs, a lot of people bite off for more that they can chew, so dont call me irresponsible for saying that they would make a great pet, a few years ago i got two for my mates one each the one lad has done every think that i have told him about the management of his dog he was willing to learn in fact we worked together for well over 5 years and ever day there was talk about dogs and [bANNED TEXT] type of dog would do him for his needs he has read the right training books that i passed on to him and she is a well behaved family pet his 1st dog mate. the other lad was a know it all, only ever had pet dogs and did not wont to know or listen to the advices that i was giving him, he know about the litter and it was a last min-nit thing for him and his teenage family to have one to give it a home i tried to talk him out of it but he wonted to give it a home so [bANNED TEXT] could i do, with in a week or two i had to re-home that one to some one who was willing for free as they had bite of far more then they as a family could cope with and that was only going to make a 40lb dog. you get a hell of a lot of folk going out and getting a mastiff or bull dog types that are going to make 120lbs plus around a small house with small kids with the dog bouncing of walls or just being pushed out in to the back garden with no training or excessive as it has got to big for them, that is irresponsible. these dogs when put in the right homes make great pets just the right size to manage not going to eat you out house or home and are willing to please so yes mate they make a great pet not for prats but for people who are willing to learn read books on training under standing the history of the breed [bANNED TEXT] they are capable of doing with out the right hand and who wont a dam good dog, and yes mate i have read a hell of a lot of history, training and management books in my time and all of my dogs have been spot on mate and never let me down because of there breeding and my training and management, so that has done me and my dogs the world of good, i have all so read a lot of dog fighting books and hunting with dog books terrier and long dogs but i dont come on here telling the lads that do it week in week out [bANNED TEXT] they should be looking for in a working dog mate
