Huntmad 1 Posted March 5, 2010 Report Share Posted March 5, 2010 Im thinking of getting an english bull terrier in the future, would like to know wat sort of work do you have yours doing?? do you recommend this breed for hunting?? does it matter if you work a long legged english bull to a short legged?? also if possible could you put some pics up. Thanks to be honest ive had one for years used to have her daughter but fights got bad so i rehomed her,there ok for a knock about but would say there were better breeds for hunting,like a bullxgreyhound but if its its just for a bit of fun go for it,they do have a hard bite and always seem keen at holes,but downside is breathing ability when the have hold of somthing and agility,just my opinion,my little bitch used to work the cover ok and did catch the odd rabbit and rat over the years shes 13 this summer so dont go out now,she used to only be 35lb fit and 18 inches,but her sire was 90lb and had some pups to a 50lb dog and all the pup were 75 and lb cheers Link to post

Cheers mate cheers mate ..well alot of people on here wont like this but he is a kc regersterd English Bull terrrier, an me mate breeds them he got champions in his line the kennal club does not specify any weight or height limit, an his sire is jack abite jester and is very long legged an athleticly built. the dam is granack midnight breeze ....
