go to the vet if its a bad 1.be careful with wound creams they can trap in infections if you use 1 clean it with salt water everyday.I find just the salt water does the trick,i use a savlon spray it foams up and gets out any dirt. atb

most small cuts and grazes are best left to the dog to lick clean, that is providing they can reach where it is,so long as there is not gaping wounds or long tears the dog will look after it easilly,I use cicitrin powder for some of the wetter wounds, puffed on a couple of times a day,you can get creams and ointments from agricultural supply stores or the internet for cuts and stuff quite easilly,a lot of it is meant for farm animals and contains small amounts of cleansing agents and antibiotics, there must be some decent dog lads with experience where you live that keep that sort of stuff or will tell you where to go to get it,failing that if your unsure in any way get a bank loan and see a vet,if you are going to keep working dogs you have to become an amateur vet these day's or be very rich, hope this helps, wirralman
