Guest JOEB
a very good point only explanation i can think of is iff you hook the fish right in the sissors, thus not directly fouling the curtain ,any other thoughts..?got me thinking now :11: Depends where you hooked the fish.......allso what type of pit the live in........gravel pit carp almost never have them, because of the amount of hard & sharp debris that they hoover up all day. On the other hand, carp that live in old sand or clay pit can often have them, as, depending on what way they feed, they may only ever get lip hooked. If the carps a tipper instead of a sucker, bang, allways in the lip JOEB Quote Link to post

thepriest 0
is it true if a carp still got curtin in its mouth its never been caught before In the roof of its mouth there is a flap of skin. After a few captures it becomes damaged and disapears along with its barbels and the sides of its mouth. Quote Link to post
