Wind up or not in this case I do know that Jehovas Witnesses do avoid blood products . To those involved this is an important aspect of their beliefs and whether non Jehovas Witnesses understand the relevence or not it is not really an issue that should invoke controversy or ridicule .

The very act of cutting the throat or breaking the neck of a freshly killed rabbit and hanging it up by the back legs will will cause much of the blood to drain downwards through gravity . If you doubt me see how much paler the flesh of a skinned rabbit treated thus compares with a rabbit that has'nt had this treatment .

cheers for all the replies.

Seems a good slit or decapitation followed by a hanging (sounds so medievil!) is the key :thumbs

Not sure the the whole "must be a wind up" was all about though. seemed like a legitimate question.

to Jayd: 'God' is still a title that can rightly be used but as a title, not a name as some religions use it. I would say that Jehovah (name) is God (title) just chose to use God on that occasion - no biggie

Thanks all

But 'God' can cover any and all, look for example, Pagans worship multiple entities, Egyptians did so. Hindu's worship multiple Gods. Maybe I was looking too deep into stuff, but I thought, as there are only JW's allowed to refer to God as Jehovah, you would have used that. Still, live and let live

Ah yeah i see ya point. without getting, like to say too deep into it, its one thing to say some one is A god but another to say someone IS God. In one way Jesus is in fact A god but Jehovah is God, or THE God, or THE ALMIGHTY God. I know what ya saying like. Have a chat next time they visit

Do behave...

...and as someone else said, shooting it will make it bleed, blood congeals quickly in the rabbit, cut it's throat and hang it up after if you want, you will not see much blood!!
