stormyboy 1,352
I bought a warrener one, blue tube of plastic with a reed in it, wank wank and more wank cost me about £8 fourteen yrs or more ago He saw you coming BBB! He doesnt use a call, just his hand. Got to say,ive never seen anyone call like him.He can mimic almost any animal or bird in distress and his vixen call is more realistic than a real one! Foxes seem to appear from nowhere. Quote Link to post
kill um with crisps 7
Trouble with all these calls is they all make the same noise. A fox that knows the score aint gonna come in for it especially if its been shot at and missed before. We need different noises to call um in. The rabbit squeels been done to death, it still works but theres plenty of foxes just say "f**k that" and bugger off quick, others circle round, catch human scent and bugger off and others stay 300 yards away for 10 mins and then bugger off! A mouse squeek or some other noise can sometimes do the trick in these situations. Quote Link to post

freem 25
i have made them before, but with elastic bands on each end for adjusting the pitch i had one a little wider apart for a deeper sound and one closer together for a more shrill close up call, have used the aeroboard on lamp lens also, but always found the back of the hand to be more versatile (just sometimes on a shy fox you could get very light-headed lol) anyone ever try tapping two small stones together? its great for young fox Quote Link to post
