Eye problems

Hello to anyone who reads I have a 8month lurcher pup with an eye problem every morning for the last week or so I've noticed a green like puss in the corner of both eyes it's easliy removed with a peice of tissue but when looked at their are little black bits in it could anyone let me know if they had this problem and the best way to treat

keep cleaning it dont use the same piece of cotton wool on the same eyes i use water from the kettle with abit of salt in it.

 

if that dont work get something of the vet

my cocker had the same problem last year,bought eye drops from the vet and applied once daily,(always in the morning when it was at it's worse)for 10 days,it never came back,can't remember what it was.

have experienced this with dogs over the yrs and i have always bought something like golden eye ointment from the chemist...its cheaper than a visit to the vets and has always cleared up the problem. Also its worth making sure your dogs bedding is changed regularly.
