BREEDING SO CALLED WORKERS

good friend of mine bred a bitch at 3 year old got badly smashed up on her first season, put her to a good dog she had 3 pups one pup went up the country but the 2 he kept worked off the collar and hasnt looked back, so i think its down to what you put into the pups, i think 60% of the shit dogs are only shit because there owners rushed em into it, i dont leave my dogs enter a hole till there atleast 18-20 months old.

i dont think shit dogs are shit because of the way their entered.it might have a small bit to do with it but thats about all. if they havent got it in them they havent got it in them no matter how you bring them on.you will know very early in a working terrier if his going to make it

Very true, some of the best dogs i've seen have been great regardless of the muppet that's got it.,they are born not made. The best of the best overcome everything that's thrown at them regardless including a poor start, shit owner bla bla bla.

You can't put in what God left out, you will only make something mediocre from shit and thats if you've got the tallent to do it. Getting a good tune out of a bad fidle, the answer i gave was about the greats, the "once in a life time" dogs.

it makes me laugh to read about people talking of breeding a 2 year old terrier , personally i don't allow mine to enter an occupied earth until they are 2 years old , and breed from at least 4 years old
