Now then you airgunners, the sun was out and beaming across the land, so I decided to go for walk with the view of bagging a couple more bunnies :D The piece of land I chose was on a little pasture at the back of some fields of rape, although the rabbits are not doing much damage to the pasture at the minute, they are starting to become a pain where the rape is concerned  So a bit of a recky was called for, the hedge line in the first pic is on the pasture, and the rape is on the left of the hedge, there will be animals grazing the pasture soon, so the bunnies will soon be a pain on the pasture, competing for the animals grass, hope its sheep this year, sheep shit brushes of when its dry, bullshit does'nt :D On arival there were stacks of rabbits out, but its a bit open where I decided to set up, so the plan was to let the rabbits bolt into the hedge, set up, and wait until the little gits came out again :D The first bun to appear was a good 70 yards away, but he would attract others ;) After about a hour I thought I was onto a no go, when all of a sudden a doe ran out in front of me closely followed by a big randy buck, the doe carried on back into the hedge, but the buck stopped for a second, looked at me, and was off before I could put the cross hairs on him  I was just thinking about a move to another pitch when another doe hopped out of the hedge at about thirty five yards, thats more like it I thought, so the cross hairs of death were put upon it and WHACK! No more pasture robbing for this little git :D Ater another half hour I decided to move somewere else, but I will be back to sort the rest of these rabbits another time ;) The other place I fancied was in the corner of the same pasture behind a hill, I would have liked to have been on top of the hill shooting down, but the sun was behind me and casting a big rabbit scaring shadow on to the side of the hill, so off I went to the base of the hill to set up. three rabbits made an appearance, one was way out of range, the other saw me and did one, and the other I missed by half an inch, and murdered a dandelion growing just behind it  So the end of day count was one again, hope this is not going to become a trend :D The first pic is looking down the hedge.

The hedge has a curve in it, so the first bit of hedge the rabbits jump out in front of you, the other part you have to wait until they hop away from the hedge before they are out on to the grass so you can take your shot, getting any nearer to the bend won't work becase the rabbits can pop out anywere along the hedge, and if one pops out next to you, or behind you, its game over, because the rabbits will thump like good'uns after that, and you'll get nowt :D The other pic is the one and only bunny to make it in to my bag today, so he will have to star alone in the EOD shot :D

Excellent as always Stealthy :clapper:

Sun was shining for this morning this side of the river.

Sadly I had to pay a visit to another gorgeously sexy nurse at our local surgery :whistling:

It was WAY to cold for me this afternoon so I laid on the sofa and watched The Deer Hunter (1st time I've seen it from start to finish)

And tomorrow Morning is busy as well and its supposed to be raining tomorrow aft and evening :wallbash:

Bunnies seem to be staying tucked up in the afternoon at the cemy & paddock but as the weather improves I'll soon be knocking em over :D
