agree with cocker if you are gonna use something nikwax is the best but i wear goretex boots workin on the bins and just stick some polish on every 2 months to nourish the leather never had wet feet but huntin walkin through streams and bog,wet grass etc better to have sweaty feet than wet feet dubbins good also but you`ll never get a shine again

grangers wax,on the leaflets i got with my lowa boots it said dubbin cloggs the pores of the leather so gore lining cant let moisture out
