Hmr Hunter 2
I found the Remmingtons really good and certainly a lot more consistent than the Hornady's where I seem to get some runners. DAVE Quote Link to post

Seems that now my barrel has seen a few thousand rounds it is happy with most, but for some strange reason the Hornady still seem to edge it.... A lot of shooting is in the head remember (especially when you find the right ammo ) Quote Link to post

Try chrono'ing both at 100yds. Ric Quote Link to post

Ric Not sure if I have, certainly checked the WMR on the chrono at 100 yards, (I think I did with some of the HMR with Mr Logic a few months back as well) if I get a chance I'm sure I'll have another try sometime anyway! I need to find the BC, but the 17g are the V-Max and a half decent BC, the 20g CCI are the Hollow Point Varmints, somehow I just think the BC will be worse (could be wrong), but without changing zero the 20g CCI are about 1" higher at 100 yards Quote Link to post

Groach 7
Another vote for remingtons they seem to top hornady's in mine but i'm going to try the groupings of the different types ammo again come the weekend weather permitting without the sak to see if it make any difference just out of interest as i am down to my last 20 blues but got 150 reds and 250 remingtons to get through. All Are capable of sub one inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards if i don't pull a shot its very marginal. George Quote Link to post
