borderboy 80
Im trying to get back into photography again, as i have a bit of spare time on my hands atm. So i thought i might try and keep a thread of the bits and pieces im seeing... And hopefully you can offer me a bit of criticism and advice to hopefully help me back on my way... Its been quite a while since i've used my camera in anger, so things are a little rusty and i'm struggling to remember the settings and such i should be aiming for....! ANY thoughts or advice are welcome... ------ I took the time to photograph these yesterday morning... I have a feeling i will be trying again shortly... MuttleMcTuttle 21
Lovely photos, snowdrops are quite a difficult subject, but you've got the light spot on here I actually like the first shot best I'd have preferred the second one if the snowdrop in focus was on a darker area of the background. it would make it stand out just that little bit more. I don't think you've lost your touch though, looking forward to seeing more
borderboy 80
thanks for the kind comments guys. I'm sure the snow drops will make another appearance before they dissapear. I really enjoyed getting out with the camera, laying on my belly on the frosty leaves in the freezing cold snapping away...
borderboy 80
Have taken any shots worth noting far a little while, photographed this wee beasty today though... Just a fleeting shot before it wandered off into the undergrowth...

borderboy 80
I have had a few hours out with the camera. didn't achieve anything brilliant, but i'd like to share a few to get some comments on them...? Conditions weren't brilliant, a bit over cast and windy, so they are not as sharp as id like. I'm thinking about buying a little tripod just one that extends between 1-2' ... Are they reall any good for these sorts of shats.... Any comments welcome ! Charlie
