4x4hunter 0
would have thought a good head and jaw first, straight on front legs not bowing out, straight on hocks not toeing in or out and look for cow hocks, short in back on those type of dogs longer back in running dogs only my opinion everyones different thats what i look for anyway
fresh earth 47
Depends what you want from the pup if its the money the blue bitch if you dont want a bitch a blue dog if its show or just a nice type your after go for whatever takes your fancy look for things that would be faults etc . When picking pups it is always tempting to chose when they are to young i tend to have an idea though from very early on what one i will keep then come 6-8 weeks when ready to go check them all for the specific's you require and are looking for and select from there all the people i know who stud dont pick till the pups are formed and ready to go. Wxm 1,638
thanks, i dont know weva or not i'll be keeping it as on friday im moving and wont have the time for it. but my mum said she'll watch the pup for a few weeks till i get sorted. the reason i took p.o.l is the person that owns the bitch did'nt have the cash for stud fee. so now i wish i probs never bred him as i'm left with the pup that im unsure if i want or need. i also dont fancy letting them sell it and giving me the money. i suppose i've got 2 weeks to decide. farlap 19
how appalling how on earth can the "breeder" afford to rear a litter and have all the eye and DNA hydroxyglutaric tests done, that all staffies should have before breeding, if they cant even afford the simple stud fee? I just wonder what this litter has done to be bred other than the fact that they are KC registered and someone obviously needs some money.

Guest clash
Instead of going the long way round & beating about the bush................... Put it in the for sale section & say "blue staff pup, pick of litter & kc reg £600".

Same old excuses...." i bred them cos i wanted to keep a pup.......ive picked mine so the other 9 are for sale ! " Why not just buy a pup if that was the only reason for breeding.....dont seem right that someone who dont even know what age a pup should leave its littermates should be breeding dogs.....but its the times we live in i suppose. There's plenty of staffies needing homes without breeding more, doh, I forgot its cheaper to "breed" a litter than pay for a rescue.
