Phantom 631
Yup I have Ally cans rolling down the embankment on my permission. Wouldn't dream of aiming at a moving creature (other than a slug or snail). Phantom Quote Link to post

I would have a shot at most things, more so if there was more than a couple us to egg each other on I've hit quite a few running rabbits, and pigeons, but at no more than 20 yards distance, and most probably less, I would not commit to those kind of shots now, but back then I had eyes like a hawk Quote Link to post

silentshot1 206
I shot a pigeon as it came in to land with my S410, pure fluke as I was just following it in, then flinched due to a twig falling and pop, one pigeon dinner! Never to be repeated fluke! Quote Link to post
JackReid 35
Once again, would never do this now or support it... My mate and I were messing around with a Crossman (no idea model) 12 shot semi auto .177 rifle. cO2 Obviously and just a fun plinking gun. HUGE corvid came swinging in and from my car window he fired off 3 shots in less than a second at it around 20 yards. Pulled the gun back in not even hoping it had hit it, and the bird carried on gliding unchanged (no flapping) and it kept going like a glider until it perfectly landed on its stomach wings still spread in the grass. I went over and it was stone dead, must have been a heart shot by the look of it! Truely amazing fluke shot!!! Jack Edited March 3, 2010 by JackReid Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Once, a crow flying straight towards me at eye level when shooting from an upstairs window when I was in my teens. .22 fired from a HW35e to the chest! Lucky shot really, wouldn't dream of attempting it now. Quote Link to post
pest hunter 151 15
i have done a rabbit hopping in a strait line away from me but luck was involved and i would only do it if the gun was .177 so i could get the head shot but its almost never you get a rabbit hop a bit slow in a strait line away from you Edited March 3, 2010 by pest hunter 151 Quote Link to post

slingshot82 32
One of my pals used to hit and kill moving rabbits quite regular on the lamp, I know its not the done thing with air rifles but I cant recall him wounding anything, just clean kills. Quote Link to post
