waidmann 105 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 i try to get around the hedges as soon as the sun is out in the mornings and the little terrier knocks quite a few out from the brambles( about 9 or 10 this season often when i don't have the gun with me )at the moment often lying well away from an earth(bachelers??) out in the morning and hopefully find one out looks a good size that one,how heavy was he? wirral countryman 2,110 Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 most of the fox's killed by our little team are bushed,we never get that many to ground only in real harsh weather,we do run a few to ground that get sorted,biggest fox we ever had to ground was 1987 and it wieghed in at 24lb,looked as big as a farm collie when I pulled it out of the hole,everyone sh*t when they seen the size of it,I have got a pickie of it in my album and if I ever get a pickie to load thats not too big I'll put it up Quote Link to post
