Rabbit when it's available ,pet mince and go cat . I never feed mine 'road kill' Brian Plummer once wrote "avoid road kill like the plague because it's probably carrying it!" I think he was right .

with our working ferrets,we just give them a rabbit, tend to avoid the dry food stuff

i know someone a few years ago fed their ferrets a hare found by the side of the road.next day the 2 ferrets were dead

feed mine gutted rabbits whole, started doing it a while back after reading about it, there water in take is less than it was with a biscuit diet and there looking better than ever really healthy.

 

Bit of a contradiction there mate. Whole rabbits are "gut in".

 

You're right though, they will look better on rabbit than biscuit.

 

I fed them anything I had at the time, rabbits, birds, fish, eggs etc.

thats not very nice, whats your problem i dont put sugar on their cornflakes [.toe rag]
