Ideation 8,216
Ok . . . mine get a long list of different things i've, shot, trapped etc the main one obviously being rabbit. They get the livers, hearts etc when i am gutting and then i hang half a rabbit with skin in the cage every couple of days and they strip it to bone and fur. They particularly love the eyes! They also get dried ferret food sometimes and i feed them an egg of two every so often. They also get a selection of fruit, their favorite being banana. When i feed them dried food i usually add a good measure of feretone. They seem to thrive on this diet and are well muscled, thick coated and fast and active as hell! atb Jai. Try the fruit seriously! Quote Link to post
RaiderBoy 19
Mine get almost everything that can be found in the house or that ive shot from dried ferret food to rabbits to fruit(bannana being thier favourite) and eggs and they have beautiful coats and are fairly active. mikeyblue 28
Bread and milk!............ just kiddin Mine has a mixture of stuff. Obviously rabbit when available, chicken wings if not. She also loves Aldi cat biscuits at £1 a kilo!! The odd egg, and if I'm feeling flush James Wellbeloved complete but I think the £1 a box cat biscuits are a bargain so she gets a lot of these with a dose of ferretone. Eddited to say, Jai, will deffinately try a bit of fruit chucked in sounds a good idea! Edited March 3, 2010 by mikeyblue Quote Link to post
