Rory4 267
whippet99 i have to confess to doing it down real quiet country lanes by my house few times, my bitch stays 20ft behind on the left running on the grass and listens to things that tell her to do,would never do with a lead. done it sat in mrs boot with boot open while she drivin so she can concetrate on road and i control speed by watching dog and telling her to slow etc. only way can get her proper panting is wicked fitness. she will run forever next to bike as fast as i can ride wont puff atall. cooper101 86
gutted for the fella!! but if you really think about it he was driving down a country lane keeping an eye on his dog what if say a cyclist or horse rider popped up at the point when say his lurcher sees somthing and tries to give chase!! i know its a worse case scenario but i think he could have gone somwere a bit more secluded like an indutrial estate or somthink!! only my opinion based on thr lanes roundc mine you get allsorts flying through them!!! anagallis_arvensis 2
Much as I dislike the police, I cant help thinking/hoping that as with all these things (smoking, eating etc) the charges are usually bought when the driver is not concentrating and driving like a cock or behaves like a twat when pulled or in this case he's yanked the chain of the police a few times before and they are looking to do him for whatever they can. However the vast majority of my dealings with coppers leads me to believe most are just tossers. Quote Link to post
artic 595
I can understand on farm tracks where other road users are not in danger but not on a public road. Can you imagine a vehicle coming in the opposite direction! Silly, selfish, dangerous, unconsiderate to other road users maybe a lesson learnt, but with this chaps previous i somehow dont think so. Rory4 267
the roads i did it on were proper country roads/farm tracks. so no other cars about and like when on bike on roads where mite occasionally see car, is single road so pull over on grass, dogs stays to the lefthand side.
