Wild_and_Irish 11
In the 1400's a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb. Hence we have 'the rule of thumb' that's a myth, the rule of thumb is to do with milling, its when you are checking how coarse the flour is you judge it by rubbing it between your forefinger and thumb, and adjust the grind using the rule of thumb. oohmydog 82
There as never been evidence to proof the GREAT WHITE shark is swimming in the waters of Britian ,all supposed sightings and dolphin and seal carcases have been discredited by experts ,scientists believe it is only a matter of time before they turn up as the water temperatures are perfect for them ,It is also beleived that they are now less great whites than tigers on the planet
