i think it was everyones dream as a kid to ferret watership down lol never thought it was a real place mind has anyone ever seen watership down winter?

never knew it was real might plan a trip up there :whistling:

my step dad lives right beside it and he sed theres thousands there

 

 

I've learnt two things today a) Watership down is a real place and B) It really is full of rabbits. For me the world is a slightly better place, i've always thought of watership down as a kind of heaven where good ferrets go when they die. . . .

Will be driving over it in about 10 mins. Richard Adams who wrote the book still lives in Whitchurch. Any one going there must go to the Watership Down pub, even if only to take a picture to show there mates it do exist. Lived here 25 years and the previous pictures of the hill that were on here is my first training spot for my young racing pigeons every year. You can see for miles. Well worth a visit, Lloyd Webber owns a good patch of it.
