Wild_and_Irish 11
I remember in that film a lurcher caught a raabbit and took to eating it with blood spraying everywhere, there was another rabbit bleeding and choking when caught in a snare, no wonder that generation is full of antis Quote Link to post

allenyeates 3
Watership Down is quite hot, but I don,t know about 28 keepers, some parts are race horse gallops and others arable land. Plenty of rabbits, hares and roe. Used to ferret plantation farm years ago, never caught really big bags. White Hill (Kingsclere) on the downs is very popular with ramblers, lots of footpaths etc and gets quite packed at weekends. Used to test the dogs on the hares up there many years ago, there and Salisbury plain. I drive over Watership Down every night going to work. Used to have a pint in "The Watership Down" at Freefolk before going home. Very pretty area. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
my step dad lives right beside it and he sed theres thousands there I've learnt two things today a) Watership down is a real place and It really is full of rabbits. For me the world is a slightly better place, i've always thought of watership down as a kind of heaven where good ferrets go when they die. . . . Quote Link to post
