Bootsha 1,306
What is a good cheap effective weed killer? Depends what you want it for, general purpose systemic herbicide ( kills from the root up so no coming back), you wont get better than Roundup, and it's pretty safe as well ( unless your a weed), anything with bark on or woody type eg. brables or heathers, Garlon, does exactly what it says on the tin. Theres probably loads on here that'll give you more brands because they use them on a day to day basis, but I have found these to be effective for the purpose. Hope this helps B

Guest jt750
Any weedkiller with glysophate as its active ingredient will do ..tumbleweed round up et al
SNAP SHOT 194
Any weedkiller with glyphosphate as above will do the job, there are many brands out there, only use when weeds are actively growing to get best results.... the glyphosphate will kill from the root ball up... round up has been made weaker in the last few years, and is getting expensive, so best use gallup 360 made by barclay, Weed free 360 made by hygeia, rambo, the list is endless... for bramble etc, use garlon 2, brushwood killer, or scrubkiller. at a rate of 120ml/ 20L of water normally....
