apperknowle 3
Brought a fox call from The british Shooting Show yesterday from FoxCallUK and wondered if anyone had used them. if so are they any good? Man says if I don't get any good results with it i can take it back to chatsworth show and he will give you a full refund. Can't be fairer than that. Atb Martin Yep they are good but remember you may still need other callers in your kit. If you call a fox it should come in but if you miss your shot next time it will run as soon as it hears the same call. Also hope no-one nearby to you uses them lol! Good luck. Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
dont care what anyone says all calls are hit and miss. thats why its good to have a number of different ones in your kit. of course thats ok if you shoot from 4x4. but walking about you dont want lots in your pocket. ive got the fox uk and ive had good days and bad with it. i no the owl's like the sound of it Quote Link to post
langouroux 14
i've got one to, they are pretty good! but not fool proof as above! Quote Link to post
garyw 0
i used mine last night[yes in moonlight]i called a dog fox in to me on a golf course with hand calling he stayed out at about 200yds as he wasnt sure so i gave a few small cries with the fox call and he came in like a train big mistake!another one chalked up to the .17rem, they are good in the right situation but i wouldnt rely on it all the time i do use a mini colibri as well for long distance calling and a georgiescu call-fox whistle they all work but on differant days if there was an ultimate caller it hasnt been discovered -YET! apperknowle 3
I've lost mine somewhere in the house. I need to find it because the fox as had 1 of my chickens last night and injured another. So a night on the foxes is on the cards soon. Atb Martin Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Like many here I have one as well, the hand is still the best and NOTHING is guaranteed 100% from any, worth having just the same, sometimes they will charge at you and sometimes the disappear double quick! Quote Link to post
Treacle Trackpad 6
Just bought one of these to add to the steadily growing collection of calls. Hope it works where my others don't. Quote Link to post
