cooper101 86 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 so something like a whippet x collie x greyhound should do the trick! dogs to confusing compared to the guns ! sort of if thats really what you want!! to keep it simple i'd say get a 3/4 grey x 1/4 collie as its only your first dog it will suit what your going to do fine and there easy to train!! a half cross collie grey can be a bit to clever for a beginner!! if your really new to running dogs are there none of your mates with the bull xz that can point you in the direction of a GOOD DOG MAN!! i wouldnt really suggest buying a hybrid of anyone you dont know as it could have anythink in it!!! the simpler you keep it the better you know what your getting with a collie xgrey as a starter dog then after youve found out abit more about running dogs and the way you like to work them you can make your own mind up whats missing in your dog that you might like to see in your next one!! im trying to help you take the safe route as a beginner there are other crosses out there that might suit you better!! but from what i have gathered from your post your a novice and there a safer bet!! hope this helps fella!! hayesy 0 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 whats you fields like big or small??? whats the terrain like rough or flat?? mix of flat and hills around here but the most of the time wil be on flat fields. alot of friends got bull x but for some reason i aint to fussed even tho they swear by them! Didnt read that sorry. yes get a bigger dog with a longer stride with a bit of collie in the mix maybe ill give these bed x wippets a miss then and try find somthing with bit of collie or greyhound in that should suit my needs a bit better! thanks everyone now gotta try find the right dog lol !!!!! if your really intrested in dogs mate ive got a litter dew anytime this month saluki greyhound x whippet greyhound x laguna whippet might suit your needs mate Quote Link to post
