what sort of lurcher?????????help!!!

can anybody help ? im after my first lurcher for lamping and a little ferreting. smoe people are saying get a whippet x collie x greyhound ? i got the chance of bedlington x whippet pub but people say after a few runs the dog is nakard! dunno wa to do!!

mix of flat and hills around here but the most of the time wil be on flat fields. alot of friends got bull x but for some reason i aint to fussed even tho they swear by them!

mix of flat and hills around here but the most of the time wil be on flat fields. alot of friends got bull x but for some reason i aint to fussed even tho they swear by them!

 

in that case id go for a larger cross cover more ground for you in the big fields!! i'd go with a greyhound cross really not a whippety type if theres mainly big fields!!

if its your first dog collie is a good starting point maybe even a hybrid with a bit of beddy bit of collie maybe a touch of saluki!! have a shop around fella if your only after rabbits you dont really need a bullx !!

try a beddy whippet greyhound mate, they are good ferreting dogs and good lamping dogs and pre ban would usualy tackle most things

a friend of mine has offered me a pup the mother is whippet and father is bed x whippet, should this be ok for what i want and dont really wanna a real small dog either but i aint got a clue about these dogs!

Didnt read that sorry. yes get a bigger dog with a longer stride with a bit of collie in the mix

maybe ill give these bed x wippets a miss then and try find somthing with bit of collie or greyhound in that should suit my needs a bit better! thanks everyone now gotta try find the right dog lol !!!!!

no you miss understand you need them crossed together!!

somthing with more grey really to keep the size up and a few others thrown into the mix!!
