how far do you walk your dog on a regular day?

i walk my lurcher 2 and a half - 4 miles around about 4-5 times a week you think this is about average for a lurcher ????

yeah i agree just i did around 4 mile this morning she ran herself knackered and when i got home she still had tons of energy. i went to put me coat on to go out and she wanted to come with. honestly her stamina is through the rough lol

i walk mine about 8 miles a day

i dont no how many miles i walk mine, but they get atleast 1 hour aday usualy 1 and a half to two hours. obviously there are certain occasions when they might get less than an hour. on these occasions i take my lurcher out on my bike and do maybe 5 miles at a fast trot to slow canter pace.

 

my terriers abit old for running by a bike hes 11 now so out on walks he decides his own pace. hes just as active when out in the field but takes abit longer to recover. and will sleep for the rest of the day. my 3 year old lurcher is a different matter.

 

i dont no how this compares to other people but they are both fit enough for me

10 mins on morning before work, few throws of the dummy, 1 hour when get in from work and 10 mins before bed. obviously any work done is on top of this.

i take my dogs out for a walk for a hour in morn 1 day and next day run them at 10mph for 5 miles behind the car and take them out each night for a hour then if its winter i take one of them lamping

my 2 get about 30-45 mins in a morning on a open field. 30-40 mins on an evening up in the woods. 15 min walk on a night, sometimes they get another walk through day

i walk my dogs down the hawgh river let them run takes me about 30 mins morning and night

and i have 4 of the happyest dogs you would ever meet
