marc2008 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 hi guys im after advice iv just brought a "hancocks" merle, shes ace in every way apart from she yapps while shes in pursuit, has anyone had this problem an sorted it, as iv been told once they start you cant stop em, any advice would be great. thanks marc. scotty2306 37 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 my bitch yapped a few times when she had watched the other dog chasing and when it was her turn she yapped while chasing but never really missed i put it down to she didnt want to watch and was really excited although i was worried at the time, she does yap if she put something up in the trees but ive heard a few dogs do it it was not on rabbits though it was hare(shot &retrieved) Quote Link to post

marc2008 0 Posted March 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 thanks guys, i paid £40 for her she was at a kennels, the dog warden brought 3 dogs in as they were convoed be the police for courseing, this dog an two whippets, shes not loud an it aint constant but a yap is a yap, i took a rabbit from another dog put that dog bk on leash an the other dog, an let jess off an let the rabbit go was an easy catch but no yapping, i rung hancocks today an gave them the tatoo numbers in the ears, an shes 6 yr old, an of good stock, so not sure [bANNED TEXT] to do marc.
