MR TEA POT 1,287
Went ferreting yesterday, got talking to a bloke you told me about a field with a few rabbits on.Found out who owned it turns out it belongs to the farmer who gave me permission in november so that was lucky . Its a grass field and rape field and the rabbits are coming out of a wood to feed there arn't any holes apart from a little sett on the permission bit,i don't have permission to go into the wood. But as got runs all over it so it looks like i will be setting a few snares on it A few pics. The grass field which is covered with runs. A few runs where the rabbits are coming out of a wood behind and feeding on the wheat field,i think a few hoop snares should mop a few up This field as runs all the way down its lenght coming from the wood Looks like i will be busy for a bit Looks like i will be busy for a bit Quote Link to post

Jebus 3
I've been asked to control the rabbits on a local farm and it has alot of very obviouse runs on too. It will take too long to snare the bit of land I've been asked to. I think a couple of lines of rabbit cages are needed. Quote Link to post

How long do you think it will take with cage traps?most of your rabbits will die of old age before they jump into one of them Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
You can carry more snares and they are quicker to set. Simple. Unless you meant a rabbit drop box? atb Jai. Quote Link to post

Snares are too much messing around. Quote Link to post
