old real tree 92
hi guys how do i make the spot of the beam on my 170 striker smaller. i have screwed the head in as much as it will go but i still think its a larger spot... any advice guys..... Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Try loosening it a bit. Dont screw it on all the way. What i did on my Blitz was screw it till it had the tightest spot and put some tape around the part where it screwed on s it would not move. Quote Link to post
cooper101 86
you can also buy vertical filament bulbs for them as appose to horizontal filaments!! if your currently running a horizontal try switching to vertical!!! Quote Link to post
hullhunter 219
mine is the same ill try pulling the bulb out slightly also what diffarance dose a vertical bulb as aposed to a horizontal make.(im not saying there will be no differance i just dont understand why or how) thanks chris Quote Link to post

The bulb filament size and shape combined with the reflector design determine the concerntration of a focused beam. the shape of the filament will determine the type of beam, e.g. a vertical filament(VF)bulb will give a circular spot beam, whilst a horizontal filament(HF) will give a slightly oval spot!! like i said may not be a big diffrence but it could be what hes asking for!!
