Yukon tactical 2.5x50

just missed a mint Yukon 2.5x50 Tactical nightvision scope on fleabay for £250 with additional Yukon IR torch.

 

I am new to the NV scene so wondered of you could answer 2 questions.....

 

1) WOULD this have been a good buy?

 

2)Are these scopes any good? I know you pay for what you get, but as stated, im just looking at starting this due to increasing issues with lamp shy quarry.

they only as good as, the last person that had it, if light pass thru the lense, it weaken the digital element, most yukon good, the nvrs-f + extra ir + double lense = very good.

To answer your questions :

1. At that price that was not a bad price as they cost about £570 new.

2. Any good?....depends....they are gen 1 ie best suited for rabbits and rats. You would be disappointed if you wanted to use it for foxingat distances of 100 yards plus. Bite the bullet and spend on Gen 2+ or you will be disappointed in the long run!
