cany day out sat

well me and a couple of me mates had a look out to a local spot today to check a few earths. I think every earth we checked had rabbits in today.But the rabbits wernt to keen to bolt out the ferrets were just to quick.We ended up having to dig about 8 out with was not to bad as its just sand so easy going.And the lurcher got the rest we ended the day with 13 one black rabbit and one that looked a bluey colour well here is a few photos ferreting009.jpg gypsy waiting for a bolt

The last couple of times we have been out the spades being well used as well , cant remember the last time we had a day of good bolts all day long wallbash.gif

 

 

The reason for this is that they are now seasoned rabbits which are left, and not young imature flyers. They would rather get down in the stop end and kick the shit out of the ferrets rather than bolt and risk there life to that mad hairy thing waiting at the entarance...
