flytie 1
Its amazing, you try for ages and get nothing and then get three in a week I didn't know how my chiller would cope with two fallow but as you can see, it does I think I may go for a pint at lunchtime ft Quote Link to post

flytie 1
That is some golf course you got there flytie mate, well done to you. What is the fridge in the pic mate? Martin Martin, It is a commercial Electrolux Broadside blast chiller. I bought it from my FEO, who did not need it any more. Top man that he is, he knew I was looking for one and offered it to me. Previously I had a pepsi bottle chiller that was big enough for roe deer but not fallow. The Electrolux was not a bad buy for £95.00 ft Quote Link to post
martin 332
Not many FEO's around like that flytie. Quote Link to post
flytie 1
Not many FEO's around like that flytie. Martin, you're right there. When he came to inspect my shotgun cabinet, about 6 years ago, he asked me if I stalked. When I said I had always fancied it but had never got round to it, he suggested that I did the DSC1 and apply for a FAC. So I did. Now I really wish I had done it years ago. ft Edit, i have ordered a proper drip tray fo fit the bottom of the chiller which will be better than cut up plastic containers. TT, I have a friend who runs a waste management company, he was contracted to get rid of some Pepsi bottle chillers that came from a beach in Dorset, you know the one! Well some of them still worked and one came my way, for a very modest fee I have found a couple on ebay for friends, around the £90.00 mark. Normally they fetch a bit more. If you ask around, when corner shops are being done up or refurbished you can sometimes pick one up quite cheaply. Pubs that are closing down are another good place to look for a bargain. ft Quote Link to post
