went lamping the other night with my dog and two of my mates, got written permission for the feild and on my way home got pulled up by police. i had two rabbits in the back of the van and was arested for hunting a wild mammal with a dog, i was in the cells for nineteen and half hours did they have any right to do this thanks

its wrongful arrest if you had your permission on you,some copper's will try it on just to try and put you off going,I would make a complaint to the ipcc about what happened,and to the station inspector,if you have any form for poaching or similar though ,you will be wasting your time,we had a local police sergeant that was an active lac's and anti that tried to make it awkward each time we went out,a few complaints sorted it out and I got an apology,yis wirralman
