hollands hope 1,024
You could always put it in kennel with a dog that is already in season or just at the beginning of it ,there is a chance your dog will also come into her season Edited February 27, 2010 by hollands hope

skycat 6,173
As most racing greyhound bitches have their seasons supressed with Durateston (testosterone injections: male hormone) it can take some a long time to come into season and it can mess up their cycles forever. I know someone who routinely jabbed their bitch up for several years and had to wait forever for the bitch to come into season when they wanted to breed from her, and she never did get pregnant. sandymere 8,263
Rest and plump her up a little as the body will often hold off a season if the dog is running hard. Greys can throw odd seasons rather than regular, especially if there is a history of hormone treatment, and optimising her condition will increase the chances of a season.
