GetOnitSkinDown 5
Good advice as usual Buster mate. The ratty is a good little gun for close quarter vermin shooting, (10-15yds max) but it's not suitable for anything else IMO. It's especially suited for clearing feral pigeons from farm buildings. more so the old ones with asbestos roofs which can easily get damaged by a stray pellet. I've had two rabbits and plenty of corvids with mine, but they were purely opportunistic shots taken when the situation arose. If you buy one for general hunting, I think you'll be greatly disappointed with the lack of range and power of it, and won't take great numbers of quarry. That being said, they can be fantastic little guns when used correctly, as the ferals in this picture will testify! thanks alot, great advice mate, but i've started a new topic, could you look? you seem to know your stuff. cheers Quote Link to post

pest hunter 151 15
60 yard? i think thats a bit far with most sup 12ftlb wepons i limit my self to 55yard with my .177pcps and when it comes to springers and co2 well i dont shoot more than 40 because i just cant hit the kill zone at those rangs with those guns, i would sugest do try and hit a 10p at dif distances and see what you can manage and dont go over 55 because the sub 12ftlb dont have the power to make humane kills at those ranges. good luck and happy hunting Edited February 28, 2010 by pest hunter 151 Quote Link to post
