Not suitable for that kind of range buddy.

 

The ratty is meant for relatively close range work.

 

There ar other rifles that are as cheap and certainly more up to the job, but 60yards is out of the range of a sub12 :yes: You would be heading down the FAC rout for that range :yes:

Sorry , your `About me ` says you`ve shot rats, rabbits, odd pheasant and fox . I know im about to regret asking , but how many 60yd shots have you taken during the daylight hours ? :whistling:

Good advice as usual Buster mate. :good:

 

The ratty is a good little gun for close quarter vermin shooting, (10-15yds max) but it's not suitable for anything else IMO. It's especially suited for clearing feral pigeons from farm buildings. more so the old ones with asbestos roofs which can easily get damaged by a stray pellet. I've had two rabbits and plenty of corvids with mine, but they were purely opportunistic shots taken when the situation arose. If you buy one for general hunting, I think you'll be greatly disappointed with the lack of range and power of it, and won't take great numbers of quarry. :no:

 

That being said, they can be fantastic little guns when used correctly, as the ferals in this picture will testify! :D
