ive got a saluki whippet greyhound shes about 23tts and really quick in a small field, when she gets to a long ear and turns it once she is almost certain to kill it

sounds like weak hares to me,ive never seen a dog kill a GOOD winter hare after 1 turn,just imho

what i mean is when she gets to it and turns it she is tight to it and puts it under pressure untill she kills it , and that is a good winter one

IMO , a dog can adapt to the ground it runs , if runs a variety , then can cope with that , if only running tight feilds , will soon learn the ropes , down to the dog in question really .

i like saluki greyhound bitch x whippet dog,=saluki greyhound whippet but with more whippet for the speed for the small fields,thats my opinion

just my opinion but does it need to be a smaller dog to be fast for the smaller fields

it doesnt matter how big your dog is mate a good dog will kill a hare anywhere big field or small like mine for instance i have a saluki greyhound x saluki greyhound and he does the job big fields an small

Heres my bitch, 10.5mths and already proved her worth, So holding her up until next season, I have seen her take them on big or small land.

I have a collie whippet half cross and i have never seen a dog as quick as it in small fields but yet i mainly run big bull crosses for all legal quarry
