Reloader 17 powder ?

Hi Folks, was wondering has anybody used RELOADER 17 Powder? if so any results? i have been jumping about a few forums and the Yanks are going on about it, one was quoted saying it's "the dogs dangly bit's" so i think i will go and buy a tub and give it a go thro my .270 if i can find some, Wullie.

Not a clue, never heard of it, what's it meant to do???

try imr 4831, is good. 120/140 & 160 gr bullet.

Once your into the link, click on Reloader Guide, scroll down to Rifle Load Data click, scroll down to .270 Winchester= 7 loads from 90gr-150gr.

yes i see on link, check loads, open bullet weight, R7 not good for all !! I see no load anywhere , exept Alliant site. :icon_eek:

 

reload nest very old site , very ecperience men, no data :icon_eek:

 

what head you use please?

Clint once you go into site at the top left hand corner next to HOME is RELOADER GUIDE click on it then scroll to the bottom of the page and click enter the guide, then rifle load data then click, then scroll down to Winchester .270 loads. Heads i am using 110gr V-Max and 140SST's Balistic Tip's

Maybe R7 in 110 gr bullet, as quite fast burn, not 140 bullet NO NO. If you must use Alliant go R19 for both 110 & 140 ,but i know nothing about how accurate . I think you may wast money, buy IMR , this is good result. :thumbs:
