poles and lines

could some 1 please show me how to tie the head and foot lines to the poles i have rings but got no idea how to put the lines and rings together on the poles???????????

put ring on the pole first then do this http://www.ropeworks.biz/reader/clove.pdf and when done pull the ring over the top of the hitch

thanks for that mate ive done that knot and it works it way lose after a while. would it be ok to put some superglue on the knot

no need for superglue if you put the ring over the top in a figure 8 the knot will not come out
