It will soon be time for jill jabs if you do use your vet for these can i make a suggestion that you phone for a price if it's OTT tell them and go elsewhere it's about time we stopped them ripping us off.

I phoned round a few vets the year my snipped hob died and went to the cheapest quote after the injections he tried to double the price and when i moaned he said sorry i had the decimal piont in the wrong place .

They will try to shaft you with a consultation fee as well

I have to agree vets will rip you off any chance they get, just make sure you tell them you dont want a consultation when you contact them. Every time i've brought my dogs to a vet even for just a check over they always test how deep my pockets are, They are nothing but con men.

my local vet quoted me £20 my pal put me on to a vet he goes to and they priced me £8 bit more like it eh

I am lucky my vet is one of the good ones 6 pound for a jills jab he vaccinated a litter of 8 pups for £ too that was with a puppy pack each and a full check
